Fresh appeal as Walsall hit-and-run driver remains on loose
Police are appealing for fresh information over a hit-and-run driver who left a teenage motorcyclist seriously injured in Walsall.
The culprit, who was in a white car, remains on the run following the collision on Wednesday evening, at the junction of Brownhills Road and Coppice Road.
The 17-year-old victim is recovering in hospital today after having surgery on his leg. Police say his injuries could be life-changing.
The driver was seen heading down Coppice Road towards Walsall after the crash at 6.10pm.
Sergeant Dean Caswell from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "A teenager has been left with serious, possibly life-changing injuries by this collision and we want to discover exactly what happened.
"Our enquiries are continuing and I would urge the driver of the white car to come forward at this stage and speak to us.
"I would also ask anyone who may know who that driver is or who has any dash cam footage of the collision to get in touch."
