Third man charged with murder over Brierley Hill crossbow killings
A third man has been charged with murder after a double killing during a cannabis farm raid in Dudley.
Sageer Mohammed was arrested on Monday in connection with the crossbow killings in Pensnett Road, Brierley Hill, in February.
The 33-year-old, of Gorsty Avenue, in Brierley Hill, has now been charged with two counts of murder and appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today. He was remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday, April 30.
Khuzaimah Douglas, 19, and Waseem Ramzan, 36, were killed in the early hours of February 20 after an attempted burglary at a cannabis farm turned into a violent brawl.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro, from the force's homicide team, said: "This remains a very active investigation more than two months on from that fatal early morning.
"Two men sadly lost their lives and we believe there are still people out there who have information to tell us about what happened. Our enquiries have not finished here."
The latest development comes after six other people have been charged in connection with the incident.
Father and son Saghawat Ramzan, 46, and Omar Ramzan, 23, who live on Pensnett Road, have been also been charged with two counts of murder. They are currently in prison on remand.
Birmingham men Lewis Graver, 21, and Said Ammai, 23, have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to burgle. Micah Evans, 19, of Drummond Street, Lye, and Bradley Knight, 22, of Tugford Road, Bourneville, were also charged with conspiracy to burgle.
