Man slashed and another injured amid violence in Wolverhampton
A man suffered several slash wounds and another a head injury after trouble flared in Wolverhampton.
Both men were taken to hospital following the violence in Bedford Street, Stow Heath, yesterday
West Midlands Police was called to the scene just before 5pm.
Nearby Bilston Road was cordoned off where a number of officers were seen gathered.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We are investigating after a disorder on Bedford Street in Wolverhampton just before 5pm left a man with several slash wounds.
"The man has been taken to hospital, along with another man who sustained an injury to his head."
