Alleged Black Country Porsche driver charged over coronavirus restrictions

A man suspected of failing to stop his Porsche when asked by police has been charged with failing to comply with the coronavirus restrictions.

Officers spotted the Porsche which allegedly failed to stop in Brierley Hill on Tuesday night.

John Field, of Summerfield Road, Netherton, was later arrested and has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving, three counts of driving with no insurance, three counts of driving while disqualified and failing to comply with the restrictions in relation to coronavirus.

The 29-year-old who was refused bail was due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday.
