Two more arrests in Dudley teenage murder investigation
Two more suspects have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager who was stabbed to death in Dudley.
A 28-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on Friday morning on suspicion of killing 19-year-old Harvey Waterfield.
Harvey, from Wednesbury, died after being stabbed in the back in Spring Pool Meadow, Russells Hall, just before 7pm on Monday.
Two people have already been charged with his murder.
Connor Oakley, 18, from Spring Pool Meadow, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were set to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’ve arrested two more people on suspicion of murder as our investigation into the death of 19-year-old Harvey Waterfield continues.
"A 28-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested this morning and remain in custody for questioning.
"Harvey, from Wednesbury, was found with a stab wound to his back in Spring Pool Meadow in Russells Hall, Dudley, just before 7pm on Monday.
"Connor Oakley, aged 18 from Spring Pool Meadow, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday charged with murder.
"They were remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court today."
