Six teenagers charged over mass fight at Star City
Six teenagers have been charged by police over the mass violence at Star City in Birmingham.
Seven police officers were left with minor injuries as trouble flared at the Vue Cinema and then spilled out into the Star City complex on November 23.
Nearly four months on, West Midlands Police has now charged one man, in connection with the incident.
Akeeb Ali, 19, of Bordesley Green Road, in Bordesley Green, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on April 1, accused of assaulting a Pc.
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named, is accused of attempted wounding and possession of attempted weapon and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on March 31.
Another 15-year-old boy is accused of assaulting two Pcs and will appear at the court on April 29.
A girl, aged 13, will appear in the same court on April 9, accused of assaulting three Pcs, and a racially aggravated public order offence.
A boy and a girl, both aged 14, have already admitted a public order offence and assaulting a Pc respectively. They were given four-month referral orders.
