Four sisters injured in early-hours brawl near Walsall nightclub
Four sisters were injured during a brawl outside a Walsall club in the early hours of the morning.
One of the sisters, aged in her 20s, was left needing hospital treatment while another had her phone, boots and money stolen in the violence on Newport Street.
The women were injured as a fight broke out among clubbers who had been in Colliseum at around 5am on Sunday.
Nobody has been arrested over the attack and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Colliseum and neighbouring Club X owner Councillor Suky Samra said one of his staff members helped break up the brawl which broke out around around 20 minutes after the clubbers left Colliseum.
Councillor Samra, a Conservative representative for the Streetly ward and the chairman of Walsall Council's licensing committee, said: "The police attended on Monday and viewed the CCTV.
"Four females have left the premises at about 5.15am on Sunday.
"For about 10 to 15 minutes they were involved with a group of lads. One of the females struck one chap with her handbag and at this point they've moved away from the Colliseum - they're towards the bus stop, near to Cash Generator.
"They argued with this chap before one of the girls struck him. This is 20, 25 minutes after they left and one particular female, she's gone and chased him and hit him with her handbag again.
"She's fallen on the floor trying to hit him and he's had a go back and there was a brawl.
"One of our staff members rushed over and broke it all up and sent all the parties away.
"There was no disorder in or out of the club. This was by the bus stop, by Cash Generator, 100 to 200 yards away.
"The police have the CCTV and they've praised the actions of our staff - they've gone above and beyond."
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We are investigating after four sisters were injured and one was robbed during a fight outside a club on Newport Street, Walsall at 5am on Sunday.
"A large disorder broke out following an argument between the women and a man as they were leaving the club.
"A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries and has since been released. The other three women suffered minor injuries.
"During the disorder, one of the women had her phone, boots and money stolen.
