Man denies Cameron Wilkinson manslaughter ahead of trial

A man has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of Cameron Wilkinson in Wolverhampton.

The 26-year-old was found with fatal injuries, in Chadwick Close, Merry Hill, on February 19 last year.

Judane Joel Brown, 25, pleaded not guilty to his manslaughter yesterday at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Mr Wilkinson was found injured by paramedics in the street near flats.

Despite the efforts of ambulance staff the Wolves fan was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.20pm.

The case was adjourned for the trial on August 17.

Brown, of Kingswood Gardens, Penn, was granted conditional bail until then.

Following Mr Wilkinson's death a vigil attended by dozens was held at the scene.
