Spate of van break-ins in Staffordshire
Thieves have broken into vans to steal tools a number of times in Staffordshire in recent days.
Police said they have received several reports of theft incidents around the Gnosall, Woodseaves and Eccleshall areas.
Staffordshire Police has now warned residents to remove all valuables from vehicles parked up overnight and to report any suspicious activity to police.
PCSO Patrick Wright said via Staffordshire Smart Alert: "We have received several reports of vans being broken into and tools taken, from around the Gnosall, Woodseaves & Eccleshall areas.
"Please ensure that you remove all valuables from your vehicle over night, or park your vehicle in a secure place & report any suspicious activity to the police."
