Walsall carjacking suspect pleads not guilty
A man accused of robbery after a woman was dragged along the ground in a carjacking in Walsall has denied the offence.
Craig Lewis, aged 36, pleaded not guilty to the charge at a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday.
The case relates to an incident where a Nissan car was stolen from Joanne Griffiths, in Stoney Lane, Little Bloxwich, on December 28 last year.
Ms Griffiths suffered a broken arm in the attack.
Lewis, of Green Lane, Birchills, appeared via prison video link.
He spoke only to confirm his plea, name, address and nationality.
He was remanded in custody until the trial on June 25.
