Suspected meat thief found hiding in kitchen cupboard
A suspected thief was found hiding in a kitchen cupboard in Wolverhampton.
The suspect is believed to have stolen more than £100 worth of meat and chocolate from Tesco last week.
Heath Town and East Park Police tweeted saying: "The team have identified an offender who stole over £100 of meat and chocolate from Tesco last week.
"Female has been arrested by the team today after she was found hiding in the kitchen cupboard #NiceToMeatYou #ToMeatYou #NICE #OhDidntTheyDoWell."
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Officers today arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of theft after reports that items were stolen from Tesco Express in Willenhall Road, Wolverhampton, on January 26.
"She is currently in custody while inquiries continue."
