Armed police called as shots fired at Dudley house
A road in Dudley was cordoned off by armed police after shots were fired at a home.
Officers were called to Brook Street, a residential road in Gornal, on Friday.
A window and door at the house were damaged in the attack which happened just before 9pm, West Midlands Police said.
The street remained behind a cordon for more than eight hours as officers started their investigation.
Noone was injured.
The shooting happened two days after a similar incident in Stourdell Road, Halesowen, which also left a door and window damaged.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating reports of shots being fired at a property on Brook Street, Dudley, at 8.45pm yesterday (January 31).
“There was damage to a window and door of the house, but fortunately no-one was injured.”
