Man arrested after drugs seized during warrant at Rugeley home
A man has been arrested after Class A drugs were seized from a house in Rugeley.
Officers from Staffordshire Police executed a warrant at an address in Arch Street on Friday afternoon.
They seized a quantity of what they believe to be Class A drugs from the property.
A spokesman from Staffordshire Police said: "A 50-year-old man from Rugeley was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
"He remains in custody at this time."
Sharing the update on Twitter account, Cannock Police added: "Search warrant executed in Rugeley this afternoon.
"A new front door required and a substantial amount of class A drugs seized, a male in custody assisting us with our enquiries."
