Children aged 10 and 12 suspected arrested over knifepoint robberies
Children aged between 10 and 12 were detained in Birmingham yesterday after a number of attempted knifepoint robberies.
West Midlands Police detained four youngsters just after 10pm in the Five Ways area of the city following the incidents.
A spokesman for the force said: "Following good cctv work and a footchase, officers have detained four children in the Five Ways area of Birmingham following a string of attempted knifepoint robberies.
"The children are aged between 10 and 12. When you think you have seen it all!"
