Man blinded in one eye after stabbing which saw him suffer wounds to his face, arm and leg
A man has been left blinded in one eye following a stabbing which saw him suffer wounds to his face, arm and leg.
The attack, which saw the 31-year-old man with wounds to his face, left arm and right leg, took place outside the Beeches on Thornbridge Avenue in Great Barr.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition and has since lost the sight in his left eye following the incident on Saturday, December 14.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
PC Sarah Proctor from the Force CID team, said: "I am urging anyone who has any information on what happened that night to contact us as soon as possible.
"I am keen to hear from anyone who saw a silver or gold BMW car, the incident taking place or noticed any suspicious behaviour beforehand.
"We also want to speak to a group of around eight men described as Asian and one black man who were in cars outside the location.
"One of the Asian men was described as wearing a black puffa jacket with a fluffy hood and a long metal chain running down to his stomach."
