Woman dragged along road in 'horrifying' carjacking
A woman was badly injured after being dragged along a road in a "horrifying" carjacking.
The victim was left with a broken arm and facial injuries after the attack in Bloxwich.
The victim, in her 40s, had her grey Nissan Juke stolen, in Stoney Lane, on Saturday.
She had pulled onto the driveway of a house she was visiting.
But a man approached her and pulled her out of the car just after 2pm.
The woman was dragged along for a short distance after hanging on to the driver's door as the offender drove the Juke away.
Police have appealed for anyone who has seen the car, with the registration DV18 CXA, to come forward.
Sgt Craig Lewis, from West Midlands Police, said: "This was a horrifying incident which has left the victim with some nasty injuries.
"She is understandably shocked and upset by what happened in broad daylight.
"I’m appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch, if they haven’t already.
"I’m also looking for the Nissan Juke (which has taping on the driver side wing mirror and a small hole on the passenger side rear door) as it has not been recovered yet.
"If you’ve seen it anywhere please report it to us."
