Police find £155k cannabis factory in this Wolverhampton home
A large cannabis factory believed to be worth nearly £155,000 has been shut down after a raid in Wolverhampton.
Officers from West Midlands Police found the stash at a house in St Matthew's Street earlier this week.
The team said the 309 plants were found at a property at around 9am on Monday.
It is believed the plants could be worth more than £154,000, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.
After the find, a spokesman for the Heath Town and East Park team said: "The Team discovered this cannabis factory in St Matthew's Street earlier in the week.
"There was 309 plants. It is worth over £154,000 according to a drugs expert.
"Takes approximately eight to 10 weeks for each harvest."
