Arrest after Brownhills hit-and-run
A man has been arrested after a hit-and-run in Brownhills.
A pedestrian was hit by a car on Lindon Road just before 7.30pm on Monday.
The vehicle left the scene and the man, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.
Today, police confirmed a 27-year-old man had been arrested on November 6 on suspicion of wounding.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers have said the victim remains in a serious condition.
Part of the road and the junction of Clayhanger Road was closed off for a number of hours.
Police are appealing for information after the crash – officers are keen to speak to witnesses or anyone with information.
