Suitcase full of cash stolen in Cannock distraction burglary
A suitcase full of cash was stolen from an 86-year-old woman's home in a distraction burglary.
Two men went to the pensioner's home in Heath Hayes, Cannock, and offered to cut her trees down in her garden.
She paid the first man but the second went into her home through the back door and stole a grey suitcase containing her savings.
The theft happened at about 2.30pm on Monday.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We would like to ask all residents to remain vigilant and if anybody has any information regarding this please call 101 and report it."
