Arrest as woman injured in Dudley crash
An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after a three-car crash near a cemetery in Dudley.
Three vehicles collided on Stourbridge Road near to Dudley Cemetery at around 10.30am on Thursday.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in the aftermath, police said.
One ambulance and a paramedic officer rushed to the scene after being alerted by police, with the woman being the only one taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We treated and conveyed one woman to hospital.
"She had suffered injuries not believed to be serious."
A driver of a training ambulance also came across the incident and stopped to help.
The man arrested remains in police custody, West Midlands Police said.
