Four people arrested as Brierley Hill police chase ends in crash
Four people were arrested by police after a car chase through Brierley Hill.
A silver Ford, which was stolen, was chased through the town until it crashed head first into a wall.
Four people – one woman aged 43, men aged 18, 25 and 44 – were arrested from the scene, say police.
The woman and two younger men have been released with no further action.
The 44-year-old man was taken to hospital to be checked over and will be taken into police custody when released from hospital.
Police said the vehicle had been involved in several thefts.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Police pursued a suspected stolen car in Brierley Hill just after 6.20pm on September 29.
"The car came to a stop on Pensnett Road at the junction with Wallows Road after colliding with a wall.
"Four people – one woman aged 43, men aged 18, 25 and 44 – were arrested from the scene on suspicion of theft of a car and dangerous driving.
"The woman and two younger men have been released with no further action; the 44-year-old man was taken to hospital to be checked over and will be taken into police custody when released from hospital."
The occupants were arrested on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
