Man charged after double stabbing in West Bromwich
A suspected knifeman has been charged after a man and a boy were stabbed in West Bromwich.
Parminder Singh, 22, is charged with two counts of wounding, assault and possession of a bladed article.
He is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court this morning after a teenager was seriously injured in the stabbing near The Hawthorns.
Emergency services found the injured boy and a second man on a road near the Waggon and Horses pub on Wednesday at about 6.30am.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a serious back injury along with a 24-year-old man who had injuries to his arms and hands.
In the aftermath of the attack, forensic officers erected a tent on Dartmouth Road over a black VW Golf which was later towed away.
Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and the MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic were sent to the scene.
