Stab victim, 17, out of hospital after Walsall McDonald's attack

A teenager who was stabbed at McDonald's in Walsall is out of hospital, police say.

The 17-year-old suffered "serious" stab wounds to his face and hands after the attack at the Wisemore branch on Tuesday.

Police rushed to the scene just after 5.20pm after reports of disorder and sealed the restaurant's front door and car park off.

An investigation into the stabbing is continuing, the force said.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A 17-year-old suffered injuries which were not serious and enquiries are ongoing."
