Man charged over drugs offence after raid at Dudley property
A man has been charged with possession of cannabis after an alleged police raid on a Dudley property.
Jonathan Johnson, aged 26, of Halesowen, has been bailed to appear before Walsall Magistrates Court on October 18.
He was arrested from an address in Hawkesley Road, on the Russells Hall estate, on Wednesday night after police arrived at around 7.45pm.
A member of the public, who saw police descend on the address, told the Express & Star: "The police blocked off the road.
"One man came out the house and the dogs had him out the floor.
"They brought dogs into the house and they were searching it for about two hours. They came out with bags of stuff.
"There was also a police helicopter."
