Two men were kicked and stamped on during a vicious street attack in Sedgley.

Police believe the two men were assaulted in the course of intervening in an incident between a man and woman.
Police and paramedics were called to Northway at around 8pm yesterday.
The two men were attacked and a man aged in his 50s suffered a head injury and remains in hospital.
The second man suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment at the time.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman added that one ambulance, a senior paramedic and the MERIT trauma doctor were sent to the scene.
