Reports of gun shots fired near Walsall town centre

Gun shots were reportedly fired between up to three cars near Walsall town centre.

West Midlands Police were called to reports of the incident in Sandwell Street at around 4.45pm on Sunday.

The cars are said to have fled the scene and it is not believed anyone was injured.

West Midlands Police are asking witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police were called to reports of gun shots being fired between up to three cars on Sandwell Street, near Walsall town centre, around 4.45pm on Sunday.
