Police find knife stuck in door at cannabis factory in Oldbury
A "large" cannabis factory was discovered inside an empty Oldbury house.
Police also came across a knife sticking in a door and unsafe electrical cables in the property in Walton Road.
Officers were called to reports of a possible break-in at the house yesterday at about 8am.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Officers were called to Walton Road in Oldbury just before 8am yesterday morning to reports of a possible break-in at an empty property.
"On arrival officers found a large cannabis factory in the unoccupied house.
"A knife was found inside the address along with unsafe electrical cables.
"Western Power were called to make the electrics safe and a police enquiry is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk 8am - midnight, or call 101 anytime.

Oldbury Police tweeted saying: "The risks our officers take every time they enter the unknown are real.
"Bare wires and a knife ready to greet us at a cannabis factory in Bristnall this evening. #wmp #intherightplaces #saynotodrugs."
