Nathan Maynard-Ellis, 29, and David Leesley, 24, each pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Ms Rawson, from Green Park Road in Kates Hill, Dudley, was last seen alive on May 12.

Her disappearance sparked an intensive police search during which her remains were discovered on June 12 by officers combing a secluded area near an industrial estate in Tipton.

The two men, who both appeared in the dock wearing grey tracksuits, were remanded in custody until October when a directions hearing for the case is planned.

A date in the New Year has still to be fixed for the trial.

Maynard-Ellis is of Mission Drive in Dudley Port, Tipton, while Leesley is of Dereton Close in Russells Hall, Dudley.
