Aldersley Road blocked as police sent to Wolverhampton incident
More than a dozen police officers were sent to deal with an incident in Wolverhampton today.
Around ten police vehicles ended up parked in Aldersley Road, Tettenhall, after officers were called to what is believed to have been a domestic incident at around 1.30pm.
Video taken at the scene showed at least 13 officers at the residential street near Pang's Express Chinese Takeaway.
There is not believed to have been any threat to the wider public.
According to an eyewitness officers used pepper spray at the scene and at least four people were detained during a struggle on the street and inside a nearby house.
The road was blocked off near Sandy Lane as police reinforcements arrived.
In the video footage a police van can be seen alongside around nine patrol cars.
West Midlands Police was contacted by the Express & Star but declined to comment on the incident or provide any details regarding the arrests.
