Three men released under investigation after Smethwick police chase
Three men who were arrested after a police chase have been released pending investigation.
Officers chased a car in Smethwick after receiving reports of people acting suspiciously near a cash point in Cape Hill.
Police found two card machines, cash and cannabis inside the car during the incident on Saturday.
A wad of £20 notes was also discovered by the force.
The men – aged 36, 37 and 39 – were arrested on suspicion of going equipped and possession of cannabis.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "They have all been released while investigations continue."
