More than £15,000 worth of jewellery has been stolen from a home in Essington.

Jewellery worth more than £15,000 was stolen

Items were stolen after an address on Hough Way in the village was burgled last month.

The jewellery is believed to have been taken between 4pm and 6pm on June 15, with police being alerted to the crime at 10.30am the following day.

A 31-year-old woman from Wolverhampton was arrested on suspicion of theft was released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

And now officers from Staffordshire Police has launched an appeal in a bid to track down the precious items.
