Teen glassed in Walsall pub left needing 50 stitches

A teenager was knocked unconscious with a glass in a Walsall pub, needing 50 stitches to his face.

The 18-year-old victim is believed to have been hit with a glass at the Brickmakers Arms, Salters Road, Walsall Wood, at around 10.15pm on May 31.

It is understood he was attacked and knocked briefly unconscious, which resulted in him suffering a serious facial injury, West Midlands Police said.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the pub at the time.
