Class A stash found in abandoned car after Quarry Bank drama
A stash of Class A drugs was found after a disturbance which left four cars damaged in the Black Country.
The drama started when a brick was thrown through a car window in Brierley Hill.
Police were called to reports of a "disagreement" involving people in two separate cars in Mount Pleasant, Quarry Bank, at about 1.15pm yesterday.
Both cars, a Seat Leon and a Ford Focus, fled and were involved in multiple crashes as they made off, damaging at least four cars.
The Seat Leon was abandoned and police later found a large amount of class A drugs inside.
So far nobody has been arrested.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to Mount Pleasant, Quarry Bank, at around 1.15pm yesterday to reports of a disagreement involving people in two separate cars.
"A brick was thrown from a Seat Leon, smashing the window of a Ford Focus.
"Both cars fled and were involved in multiple collisions as they made off - damaging at least four cars.
"The occupants of the Seat Leon later abandoned the car and ran off.
"Officers have recovered the car and seized a large quantity of Class A drugs.
"There were no reports of injuries and at present no arrests have been made.
"Investigations continue and anyone with information has been asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk, or via 101 any time, quoting log 1221 of 1 July."
