Audi lands on top of car in Netherton crash

A suspected drink driver has been arrested after a crash left a car on top of another in a front garden.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Copse Road and Heath Road in Netherton just before 6am today after reports of a crash.

An blue Audi A3 was spotted resting over the back of a red Seat Ibiza after landing in the garden of a home on Heath Road.

Police believe that the Audi was stolen.

Debris from the smashed cars are strewn across the garden and firefighters can be seen attending the crash.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and perverting the course of justice and is currently in police custody for questioning."

A total of 10 firefighters attended the scene to make it safe and it's believed the car may have crashed with two parked cars before landing in the garden.
