Trio released amid knife threats against teenager
Three boys, who were arrested after a teenager was threatened with a knife, have been released.
Police had calls from worried residents, claiming that teenagers were brandishing a knife at other youngsters in Doe Bank Park, off Collingwood Park, in Great Barr on Saturday.
Officers confirmed a teenage boy was threatened with a knife just after 5pm.
At the time, three 14-year-old boys were arrested, one on suspicion of possession of a knife and causing affray and the other two on suspicion of causing affray.
Now, police have said that two of the boys have been released "pending investigation" while the third has been released "facing no further action."
