Teenager arrested after man 'seriously assaulted' in Kidderminster street
A teenager has been arrested after a man was 'seriously assaulted' in Kidderminster.
The victim, a man in his early 20s, was attacked in Park Lane on Saturday, at around 11.15pm.
Police and paramedics attended the scene after calls from concerned residents.
After putting a cordon in place throughout Sunday, officers arrested a 17-year-old boy, from Kidderminster, in connection with the incident.
He has since been released on bail until June 30.
West Mercia Police spokeswoman, Laura Maltby, said: "He was treated at the scene by officers and was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not currently believed to be life threatening.
"Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area or who witnessed anything at the time.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 902S of June 1."
