Kidderminster man appears in court charged with murder of Paul Lundy
A man will stand trial later this year for the murder of 48-year-old Kidderminster man Paul Lundy.
Nathan Calder appeared at Birmingham Crown Court today charged with the murder of Mr Lundy – after his body was found at a house in Broad Street on May 23.
Calder, 27, of Eddy Road, Kidderminster, entered no plea during the short hearing and a trial has been listed to start at Worcester Crown Court on November 25.
He was remanded in custody.
Two men – aged 28 and 61 years old – who were also arrested on suspicion of murder have both been released with out charge.
Speaking after Mr Lundy was identified, Detective Chief Inspector Carl Moore, from West Mercia Police, said: "I' would like to ask that the privacy of Paul's family be respected at this extremely difficult time."
