Balaclava, gloves and drugs found after car speeds away from police in Walsall

A car smashed into other vehicles speeding away from police in Walsall before the passenger ran and dropped his "stash".

West Midlands Police Force Response tweeted saying a black VW Golf "barged its way into cars" to get away from officers, before the passenger ran off dropping "his stash" in the process.

Later on officers found the car abandoned, broke their way in and found gloves and a balaclava.

The tweet says: "A black Golf barged its way into cars to get away from #Eunit #Walsall officers causing damage. The passenger ran but dropped his stash. No stash, No cash...interrupting criminality is what we like to do. The Golf and driver were lost."

The later adds: "However, #Eunit Sgt's found the Golf abandoned. They had to break the window for a quick search, finding a balaclava and gloves tucking into a bag. Smashing job."
