Appeal after pensioner robbed in Dudley town centre
A pensioner had his wallet stolen from his pocket during a street robbery in Dudley.
He was grabbed by one man as a second snatched his wallet before the pair ran off.
One suspect has been charged by police but officers want to trace a second man.
The victim, a man aged in his mid-70s, was approached by two men late at night, in Vicar Street, off Dudley High Street.
The robbery happened at around 11.30pm last Wednesday.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on a vulnerable pensioner.
"One of the men grabbed him from behind, so he could not move, while the other felt through his pockets and stole his wallet.
"The men then ran off in different directions.
"There were two people in the area who spoke to police after the robbery took place and we are hoping they will come forward as witnesses, to help us identify the other suspect.
