Police chase yobs as car window smashed with hammer in Dudley
A car driver had a window smashed in after being confronted by a group of men in Dudley town centre.
The group approached a stationary car at the traffic lights for the junction of Castle Hill and Castle Street at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
One of the men pulled out a hammer and smashed the window of the car before patrolling police officers gave chase and arrested the man.
The driver of the car was unhurt in the incident, police said.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said:
"A 21-year-old man was later given a conditional caution which was in line with the victim’s wishes."
