Arsonists target same road in Stafford
Arsonists have set fire to undergrowth on a street just weeks after a fire spread to a house from a hedge on the same Stafford road.
Police have urged residents to share information after the latest arson attack, which happened last week on Silkmore Lane, between Hall Close and Pioneer Way.
Last month three fires were started deliberately in Stafford in the space of three days, gutting one house.
A spokeswoman fr Staffordshire Police said: "We regret to inform you that we have had another report of a fire off Silkmore Lane.
"We are urging local residents for any information that can help us with the investigation.
"It is believed the undergrowth between Hall Close and Pioneer Way is being set alight.
"The fires are happening late at night early hours of the morning.
"Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us on 101 or in an emergency 999."
