Officers from Staffordshire Police's Tactical Support Team, supported by colleagues from West Midlands Police, carried out the warrant.

Armed police officers from Staffordshire were also present.

Chief Inspector Mark Smith, commander for the operation, said: “I would like to reassure residents in the area that this morning’s raid was carried out with our colleagues from West Midlands Police and was a result of planned intelligence.

"Investigations continue and there will be increased patrols in the local area this morning.”
