Two teenagers arrested over stolen car in Brierley Hill

Two teenage boys are in police custody after a car was stolen in the Black Country,

The pair, aged 14 and 16, were seen pushing the car in Baxter Road, Brierley Hill, before being arrested by police.

The car was reported stolen from an address around three miles away in Whittington Road, Stourbridge.

Officers arrested the 14-year-old on suspicion of burglary and the 16-year-old on suspicion of car theft.

They were spotted abandoning the car at around 5.30pm on Sunday (31).

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "They left the car and walked off towards Bargue Walk, where police located and arrested them.

"They both remain in police custody."
