Arrest after alleged sexual assault on train in Staffordshire
A man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on a train in Staffordshire.
Officers investigating the sexual assault on board a train between Stafford and Nuneaton have made an arrest in connection.
The incident was reported to British Transport Police on March 1.
A 30-year-old man from Stafford has now been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault by touching.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries and police investigation.
Officers continue to ask for witnesses to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 547 of March 1.
