Woman calls 999 after ‘being caught in bed by cheating man’s partner’

A woman called 999 to report being caught in bed by the partner of a man she’d slept with.

The woman called police this morning and told the call operator that she didn't know the address of where she was but that a woman was trying to kill her.

West Midlands Police's Force Response Unit shared the basic details of the incident on Twitter without revealing who was involved or where the incident took place.

The tweets, which have since been deleted, included a picture of the incident brief with the location blacked out.

The message from the woman, who called police at around 9am, said: "There is a girl here trying to kill me.

"I slept with her partner last night and he has left me here alone. I don't know the address."

Force Response joked about the incident saying: "If the guy who's left his one night stand in bed when he’s nipped out to get breakfast is following us. You might want avoid going home - forever!"

Police later tweeted to clarify that the woman had left the premises and no offences were disclosed.

All of the tweets have since been deleted from the @ResponseWMP account, which has more than 12,000 followers.
