Murder arrest after third fatal stabbing in Birmingham this month
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
The man, who is yet to be named by police, was found with several stab wounds at a block of flats in Frensham Way, Harborne, shortly after 11am on Saturday.
He became the third person in the last two weeks to die after being stabbed in Birmingham.
On Wednesday Abdullah Muhammad, 16, was killed in the Small Heath area, a few minutes' drive away from where 16-year-old student Sidali Mohamed was stabbed outside Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College a week earlier.
A 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the Harbone stabbing.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was found with fatal injuries at a block of flats on Frensham Way in the Harborne area of Birmingham this morning.
"Officers were called to the road just after 11am, where a man was found with several stab wounds.
"Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder as enquiries continue."
