Hammer, knife and knuckle duster found on train passenger in Bloxwich
A hammer, knife, knuckle duster and cannabis were found on a train passenger when he was stopped by police in Staffordshire.
Officers rushed to Cannock Rail Station last night to reports of men with weapons, and then followed the train to Bloxwich.
A man was identified by police and the weapons and drugs were found during a search.
An 18-year-old man was arrested after the incident.
The Black Country's British Transport Police tweeted saying: "Officers blue lighted to reports of males with weapons at Cannock Railway Station @CannockPolice @StaffsPolice #weapon.
"Officers met the train at Bloxwich. One male was quickly identified and searched. Found to be in possession of these items and cannabis #yamnicked Great joint working with @CannockPolice. #saferneighbourhood #jointworking."
