Hundreds of cannabis plants were seized after police raided the underground bunker of a home in Wolverhampton.

After searching the home officers removed wooden panelling to a back garden cabin, revealing an underground bunker cultivating around 250 plants.

The raid was executed by police after gathering intelligence that cannabis was being grown at the property.
Officers described the secret bunker as 'sophisticated' after discovering it.
Two men, aged 57 and 41, have been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and are currently in police custody for questioning.
Inspector Stephanie Furber, from Wolverhampton Police, said: "The plants were well hidden but officers acted on their suspicions and discovered the cannabis factory.
"Drugs will not be tolerated on the streets of Wolverhampton as they not only destroy lives themselves, but can lead to further crime.
"We would urge anyone with concerns about drugs in their communities to let us know. We need the public to be our eyes and ears to help us combat this issue."
