Police find man unconscious at home after responding to burglary almost four hours later
A 62-year-old man was found unconscious by police officers who were responding to a burglary four hours after a call was reported.

Officers forced entry into the property on Hillside Road, Great Barr, after there was no answer at the door.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Police were called at 6.45am on Thursday but did not arrive until 11.08am.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Enquiries are on-going to establish if any criminality took place that resulted in the man’s injuries."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a patient who had been assaulted on Hillside Close at 11.35am yesterday.
"One ambulance, a rapid response paramedic and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"We treated one patient, a man, for multiple serious injuries, before he was transported to hospital on blue lights and sirens for further assessment."
