Teenagers charged over West Midlands crime spree
Two teenagers have been charged with a series of violent home raids and car-jackings after threatening homeowners with machetes and hammers.
Dylan Harris, aged 18, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, are alleged to have targeted an address in Netherton as part of a series of crimes across Birmingham and Solihull.
The pair have been charged with three robberies, four burglaries and two attempted robberies.
Both teenagers appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court today and have been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on March 13.
